PlayPower

PlayPower was a pioneering educational initiative that leveraged $12 8-bit TV-computers—already present in millions of homes across the developing world—for game-based learning. By creating educational games for these ultra-low-cost devices, PlayPower made digital learning accessible to communities that couldn't afford modern computers. The project won the 2009 MacArthur Foundation Digital Media and Learning Grant.
